When a friend became ill and would not recover, Pam’s mind went to all their family and friends, the loss they were beginning to wrap their minds around, and how they could possibly remember her and let go.
“I wanted to shine a light on who her friend had been, and would remain in the minds of everyone left behind.”
She constructed a luminary in porcelain highlighting the memories so many shared and the leaves of New England where she lived and loved. Guests were able to take a porcelain leaf with them in memory of their gathering together in their friend’s memory.
